AgreenSkills: a mobility programme for young researchers

Agreenium has put together a broad programme of international mobility for young researchers - AgreenSkills.

The programme

Coordinated by INRA and Agreenium, the AgreenSkills programme (2012-2016) and its extension AgreenSkills+ (2014-2019) are COFUND programmes co-financed by the European Commission as part of the People Programme of the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7).

The objectives of AgreenSkills and AgreenSkills+ are to promote the international mobility of young researchers, incoming mobility in one of the Agreenium members' research laboratories or outgoing mobility anywhere in the world, by supporting research projects through very attractive mobility bonuses and personalized career development paths.

It is intended for the brightest young researchers with a doctorate, with less than 10 years of experience since obtaining their PhD, regardless of nationality and origin, in the fields of agriculture, food and nutrition, animal and veterinary public health and the environment.

Throughout the programme, 214 young researchers and teacher-researchers were recruited through two calls for applications per year, following a very competitive and entirely international selection process, and benefited from particularly favourable conditions for mobility stays lasting from 1 to 3 years.
